That’s got to be something from Blue Peter…

The Chase! Goofy, but I love that one. Modern Doctor Who needs more robotic Draculas.

Is that story intact and on DVD? Hmmmm… Looks like!

It’s been a while since I’ve seen this one.

Journey into Terror, for the specific episode. Nice catch, I recalled the general plot but couldn’t place it in the series.

This series is on YouTube. You get the unexpected sight of Frankenstein’s Monster trashing a Dalek.

That’s Jacqueline Hill in the background of the picture. I assume she is standing with one of her children.

In the previous episode, the Tardis lands on the observation deck of the Empire State Building. There we meet a mumbling beatnik tour guide and a British actor doing a Jethro Bodine impression.

The Chicago Transit Authority has a new way of paying for rides.

They call it Ventra.

Why? Isn’t that the underside of a fish? Or is it the French word for Friday?

Ventres are the undersides of any animals, really. But it is supposed to be from vent- for wind, and I’m guessing the tra is for transit.

That’s not new, it’s old.

You don’t need it anymore, unless you have a reason to want to keep your transportation funds separate for some reason.

Just tap your credit/debit card with a smart chip on the reader. The system will even keep track of free transfers (even in places where technically you have to tap back into the system, like in the Loop between the L lines overhead and the subway below ground).
