I haven’t looked at a significant amount of their stuff yet, but from what I’ve seen so far, Zeteo is good.

They have a Substack and a YouTube channel.

It’s been mentioned in another topic, but Teen Vogue does a good job.

Dame is another good one for in-depth analysis…

And the 19th…

Both of which I discovered from lovely folks here…

This is an online publication local to Illinois, but it’s run by a friend of mine, and he does a great job covering LGBTQ+ related news throughout the Midwest.

A recent headline:

While EFF isn’t a news organization per se, they are an excellent source when they do publish news stories.

There are no good news sources in spanish that cover generalist news.

https://beteve.cat has good journalists, but covers only Barcelona and rarely national/international news that relate to Barcelona. Discovered them when trying to find reliable news sources about the 1O independence referendum and the subsequent riots when the goverment tried to stop it as ham-fistedly as possible. I was literally sending people the news thread on the guardian because there was no spanish newspaper that covered it without playing it like a fucking violent uprising (the violence came mostly from the cops and agitators that looked like cops), or like the fucking righteous crusade against the opressive spanish goverment (it was purely a political maneuver to put pressure on the central goverment).

https://www.lamarea.com is left leaning but really good, but basically runs only investigative pieces (would be, I think, a bit like a low-budget propublica, more than a newspaper). I really like what they do, but they basically run three-four articles a day at most, sometimes covering old news in depth.
