Wellll…I always took “domestic” in that sense as being “in a domicile”. Like “Domestic Goddess”. Now, “domesticated” - I think that’s what the above-stated means.
Yes, I know, it’s just a meme. But I find this trend - and it’s everywhere - of disregarding the subtle differences between words to be quite disturbing.
