Oh, I agree. Seems like sometimes when a cat is happy and secure, with the eyes half-closed and chin up, they just look smug.
Ally was the sweetest cat we ever had, with her litter mate Sona (now sitting in my lap) a very close second. Good thing too, given all the vet appointments Ally had to endure, and all the pills she had to take for her heart condition (4 a day near the end). A real trouper.

As an aside, never watch “The Last Temptation of Christ” after watching the original film version of “Jesus Christ Superstar”.
Or you can; it was kind of fun singing songs from the latter to scenes from the former.
