Well, one gorilla gets down on his knees
Oh, I was referring to the spotted dog.
So was kxkvi.
JOKE ALERT
(Sorry, forgot this)
I think at this point the manufacturers - all of them - just have a big box of unsorted size labels near the end of every production line and the workers grab one at random each time and sew it in whatever peace of clothing happens to be in front of them because they donāt have the time to check. And given the working conditions prevalent in huge parts of the textile industry I canāt blame them.
Madam,
I feel that I must, in the strongest possible terms, protest against your oversimplified, clearly cliched and stereotyped generalisation of a vital segment of the population.
You should see me at funerals.
With kind regards,

i think the cotton ball idea is great!
Friday night at the Eagleā¦
I used to boil water in a mug in the microwave with the TEA BAG IN IT.
What was I thinking??
Now I microwave the mug & water and put the tea bag in after I take it out. But is there something different between boiling water in a kettle and boiling in the microwave? The only thing I can think of is a difference in dissolved air.
Ha, perfect appropriate gif. Also was expecting āTRADITION!ā
Tradition is a great reason!
I once put a kettle on the stove and then forgot about it. The water boiled away and the kettle turned black. Metal fortunately.
More recently I put a mug in the microwave without any water. Fortunately it just got VERY hot.
Sometimes you can superheat water in a microwave, which can be dangerous, but as for flavor, Iād imagine dropping the bag in hot water and the water slowly soaking in, or pouring boiling water over the bag, exposing the leaves to far more boiling water quickly might actually result in a different flavor profile?
XKCD doesnāt mention the only true and proper method ā boiling water in a kettle and steeping in a teapot, ideally a Brown Betty with a tea cosy your grandmother knit before the war
(Just donāt say the words āelectric kettleā, or this thread will fill up with Britishers bragging about how much faster their kettles are because voltage.)
As an American, I shall keep my yap closed with respect to my dear electric kettle, the second one, as the first one lasted 25 years.
Mine is faster because itās induction
