I see the old Kissinger meme has been updated

Kissinger the top of a very long list, and many of the others are tied for second.

Well not anymore he’s not. If there’s a hell, hopefully he’s rotting in it.

I saw a version this week with Ozzy Osbourne and Mitch McConnell in the appropriate places. Admittedly, that’s not the obituary I’m most eagerly anticipating right now.

can’t say i’ll shed a tear for that asshole.

Me neither.

It’s kind of weird how many faces turn out to be assholes, with some heels being total mensches (Andre).

I thought he’d died a few years ago LOL

Oh no, he was all over the last election, in fact. He campaigned heavily for Trump.

Word. I wonder if Jesse Ventura will make a statement along a similar line…

Yes. Absolute garbage human being.

Even as a young wrestling mark, his whole goody two shoes act felt disingenuous and hypocritical to me and I always rooted for his opponent. He was portrayed as this paragon of virtue while doing really scummy and selfish shit in character, and that never sat well with me. As a wrestler, he was a lazy worker who was unwilling to let others get over, which was why he was champion for so long.

Even his Wrestlemania VI loss to Ultimate Warrior (another not-so-dearly-departed garbage human being) wasn’t done altruistically to help promote the hot new talent. Hogan was forced to do it to put an end to a WCW recruitment effort.

Him actually putting Ultimate Warrior over was shocking in retrospect given the other up and coming big names he would refuse to put over and try to bury as a result like Bret Hart, Jake Roberts, Vader, Shawn Michaels, and many others. He also got his revenge Ultimate Warrior about a decade after WMVI when both were in WCW; Warrior lost his first and only match against Hogan after weeks of uninteresting build up and was never used again in the promotion.

Hogan was a union buster. When Jesse Ventura was working to unionize pro wrestlers, Hogan ratted the effort out to Vince McMahon and got the whole thing killed. I have no doubt this led to many early deaths of his colleagues as a result.

Wrestling aside, his Peter Thiel-funded lawsuit against Gawker had far reaching and chilling effects on the media as a whole, and I’ll never forgive that either.

All that aside, he was a racist, philandering, Trump loving, and child abusing scumbag. His children (especially Nick) are plenty awful on their own as well.

I hope he enjoys saying his prayers, eating his vitamins, and flexing his “24 inch pythons” while burning up in hell.

He did! RIP, Jabroni!

And the WWF eventually bought out that too. Which is heartbreaking as WCW was a great promotion… It was always my favorite as kid (I was able to watch Memphis and Texas promotions where I was, along with like GLOW and sometimes a Mexican promotion would show up on the TeeVee).

Yep, the Ventura clip recounts that story. Fucking shameful.

Yep, that’s gonna go down in history as a major event in the current ongoing attempted right wing coup of the US government.

The only good thing about Hulk Hogan is that the WWF pinball machine is a whole lot of fun.
