See it, post it

Venezuelan radar activated. I guessed at a glance that it was likely a Simon Bolivar statue, i clicky click to see and confirm it is indeed one. Of course, there are many guys on horse statues but sometimes as a Venezuelan you just know. Also i believe he’s purported to being the historical figure with the largest number of statues dedicated to him.

The life and achievements of Simon Bolivar is pretty fascinating. Imagine George Washington, now imagine George Washington deciding that freeing the country was not going to guarantee independence and that to do so he had to kick out colonialists from a huge chunk of the Americas.

We’re on our Denver trip. Pretty tired, waiting to kill about 4hrs before we can check in. We might just take a long ass nap when we do

We did have breakfast at a cool diner

Snow!

Next to Lake Creve Coeur, St. Louis. We had a picnic there this afternoon for my dad’s birthday.
