Are youi sure that you’ve assembled a large enough coalition to say “fuck off and die” to those left?

Hopefully these pols figure out that they are running against each other for the royal title of Truman to Sanders’ Rooseveltian rhetoric.

I can’t tell if you’re arguing for or against “one person one vote”

Oh definitely for one person one vote. I don’t believe that groups should be treated as voting in blocs-- especially static blocs that have outlived their usefulness,

But at the same time, I don’t think it’s wise to go around prophesising revenge against the individuals living in overrepresented states. They might develop into an especially solid bloc of opposition. And since the National Popular Vote has yet to be enacted, well…

People don’t enjoy hearing that their shitty lives could be even shittier in a “just” world.

I believe that their overrepresentation is what made them a bigger target for abuse and manipulation. With mass media, the rich can weaponize a population of increasingly isolated people. We’ve watched it happen. Listened to the conservative media that has NO competition for ears, not even by being a workplace.

In the Nineties the ONLY place I worked that didn’t have the boss or a lead put out their blaring-ass radio of talk radio shit was in computer support cubeland. In Oregon in the city with the highest proportion of phds in the whole country at the time.

I don’t know who you’re talking to or what you’re talking about

By “factionalizing” read “be Republicans.”

Good morning, how’s Mayo Pete going to try to ratfuck NV?

Stay tuned, I guess.

i have no hate for Pete, but the news is that he’s not. Bernie is so far ahead that even with not all the precincts reporting in yet, he’s securing the state.

Both WashPost and NYTimes are reporting that Sanders won, with >50% of the delegates.

The real question goes to VP then, and the fact that Sanders is the same fucking age range as all the other principals in our oligarchy shitshow… well, we’ll see how that goes. Or if they manage to knock him out some other way than by just showering the media with money.

Aye, 'tis from County Mayo he is then?

Nobody here but us chickens…

yeah. he could just opt for Elizabeth, and unite all the progressive left side of the party, which would be fine by me. he has lots fo good options. i think he would be smart to start showing that he’s not some inflexible “my way or the highway” guy, which is the knock i hear against him over and over from people.

Likely to be code for “the Democratic base cannot be allowed to think that a candidate will fight for what they want.”
