Ignoring the period clothing, this looks like a thumbnail for a GeoBeats Animals video on YouTube.

I was looking for a picture of a squirrel eating pawpaw, but I’m pretty sure that’s a papaya.

Paw paw and papaya get mixed up all the time.

Should you ever visit Paw Paw, Michigan, none of the locals know what a pawpaw is.

Well, it looks like someone needs to plant some paw paws, and be ready with a camera when the fruits ripen: I can’t find any pics of squirrs eating them, either.

They gots pretty flowers, too

The Paw Paw Negro Blowtorch really was a thing, BTW.

Yay.

We got the call this afternoon. Mr. Squizzle got 6 doses of antibiotics and he was getting agitated in his cage.

He wanted to get free again.

We went and got him and released in him in our yard. He took off like a rocket but within 10 minutes he was back.

If you could of seen him Thursday evening all wet, bleeding, and shivering you wouldn’t of thought this would be a happy ending.

The woman is a retired RN, she also rescues all sorts of animals but mostly possums.

I’m asking the next squirrel I see all about worm holes.

Birds know a lot about them too. The early ones, that is.
