Here is the full thing. This one is new to me.

ETA — Apparently not actually the full thing, but most of it.

Do chipmunks count as squizzles? They are the same family, Sciuridae.

And they’re cuter than squirrels. /ducks thrown tomatoes
Well, it’s a matter of opinion. We have a bunch around here.

My only experience with chipmunks was hiking in Yosemite (i think) and having to keep an eye out for them because they got used to people feeding them snacks. If you didn’t give them food they would wait for you to set your bag down and get distracted and then they would try their best to break into your bag to get at the food :stuck_out_tongue:

They definitely count as ground squirrels. I don’t think anyone gave a firm answer whether those are still squizzles or not though.

I meant chipmunx, not opinions. Well, both I guess.

We have some around our house, too. I saw one the other day darting about the front yard… Every now and again, they’ll be dashing across the back deck…

I will include these guys. They were identified as gophers, but they are clearly chipmunks.

We’re not 100% sure but we’re pretty sure this is the squirrel that was injured and fixed earlier this spring.

I better get that sign up, non squirrels are checking it out.

On the plus side, the camera is working better than I hoped and it wouldn’t be the worst thing to see baby birds get borned.

Yes. The Smithsonian says so.

I feel you, birb. House-hunting can be stressful.

It might be too steep of a climb for baby birbs? I think the only constructed birb nesting spots I’ve seen have been for falcons, and they are pretty much open on one side.
