On my radio this morning. Pivotal band in the history of Japanese popular music. This song (1971) was featured in the film Lost in Translation.

“Kaze o Atsumete” by the band Happy End.

And apparently Kneecap’s more politically charged statements were purged from the stream?

I have just listened to the entirety of Sandanista! for the first time. That took me from Chicago to just outside of Portage.

My initial review: they have enough there for a solid double album.

H.P Baxxter answered the question about “How much is the fish?” on the Scooter Facebook page, revealing that “the fish” was actually the one they bought for their studio aquarium, and it cost 3.80 DM (1.94 €).

What was originally the first two LPs, the first twenty four tracks ending with “Broadway”, is very, very solid. The last third is shakier, but has got some good to great stuff, especially “Lose This Skin.” As originally priced, that third LP was basically a bonus disc.

I like it better than Combat Rock.
