One of my favourite tv series is “Fake or Fortune”, about authenticating pieces of art, and it sometimes highlights the illicit art market. Fascinating show.

I love that show, too. I learn stuff every time. I like Philip.

I began watching Philip’s art thingies what were filmed at his home during lockdown. It must have done a great job of soothing and calming a lot of freaked-out people, not just me.

I also loved meeting his Whippet.

Initially, Philip comes across as an upper crust snob, but as the show goes on, he’s really soft-hearted; I remember an episode where they were investigating an Homer Winslow painting, and at one point he was nearly brought to tears.

I didn’t put it together at first that it was the same person; some friends had been watching the lockdown series, and I started watching it and realised that it was him. And yes, his Whippet is lovely.

He is very posh, but as you say he’s far from heartless, and he sure as heaven knows his shit.

Philip’s Whippet is truly adorable XD

These videos were so soothing through lockdown; they go through a predictable series of actions, with some variations, and have a satisfying conclusion. My favourite part is always the cleaning.

I was a little disappointed by the paucity of info in that MPR article, but it sure is great news.
