“any source of information which runs contrary to our programs shall hereby be deemed ‘propaganda’, including, but not exclusive to, the law of gravity!” @#$!
Re-incorporate the Wikimedia foundation in another country now, and transfer all funds and assets to it. Wikipedia is global, they don’t depend on a US foundation, but if their assets were seized, it could be the end of one of humanity 's most important resources.
Melania is wishing it was a different funeral.
Wow… what in the actual fuck.
hnh… who knew the executive branch could “alter” laws passed by Congress (c1939) to fit their (venal) interests …? so much for my ‘School House Rock’ understanding of the functions of the “Branches of Government” @#$!!
Trump raised the prospect of applying new sanctions on Russia after its assault on Kyiv last week, questioning whether Putin is interested in peace.
He’s just now questioning this?
That interview is quite telling - he ignores the reality of the questions (i.e. “I said I would only pardon the J6 people who were peaceful, so why did I pardon the violent ones? Because they were all peaceful, unlike those other ones who didn’t like me.”), he’s unaware of what’s going on and doesn’t seem to be the person actually making decisions (nothing new there, really, but it’s more obvious now), and then the section about Biden really shows his ability to not just lie, but immediately forget that he just said something a second ago that reveals what he just said to be a lie (“You’d never interview Biden and ask him these kinds of questions. Oh, you did? How was he? I can read it? Without having read it, let me answer my own question, and definitively state that it was a terrible interview and he was barely asked any questions.”)
I’m struck by this bit, though:"Well, do you intend to send American citizens to foreign persons?
I would love to do that if it were permissible by law. We’re looking into that. When I have a person, these would be extreme cases. When I have a person that is a 28-time in and out person that goes out and tries to kill people every time he or she is out, I would have no problem with doing that whatsoever. "
So… if the issue is that they commit crimes immediately after being released from prison, does he not understand that CECOT doesn’t solve the problem, because there’s no way that leaving prisoners in prison permanently, beyond their jail sentence, cannot ever be legal, even if done in another country? Or did he just lose track of what he was saying?
