One thing I’ve seen that might help is 50 mg Benadryl 15 minutes before or 20 mg zyrtec a couple of hours before.

50 mg of Benadryl would render me useless for 24 hours. Actually worse than useless. It would make me really, really irritable, but also super drowsy. I’m extra sensitive to antihistamines for some reason. Even Claritin knocks me out.

Ugh. So much of this toxic positivity worldview is just an excuse to victim blame. Having financial trouble? It’s just an attitude problem, you need to let go of your negativity and then the magic fortune ghosts will bring you prosperity. Depressed and stressed out? You did a bad job harmonizing your quantum vibrations and you just need to smile until your face hurts. Died of cancer? Gosh, I guess you just didn’t WANT health hard enough, but nobody will miss a negative nancy like that anyway.
