The goddamn Trump Administration (Part 2)

Catching up on the apocalypse here and I don’t want to derail, but this sentence raises SO MANY questions for me about the process of discovering this treatment. They are not questions I want answered. Existing as they do in my mind, inviting speculation on various scenarios, is perfect.

Awww! He looks like a third grader trying on his daddy’s suit.

I guess he can’t afford a tailor. No wonder other world leaders are laughing at him.

Protamine - StatPearls - NCBI Bookshelf

Protamine is a medication used to reverse and neutralize the anticoagulant effects of heparin. Protamine is the specific antagonist that neutralizes heparin-induced anticoagulation. Protamine is a strongly alkaline (nearly two-thirds of the amino acid composition is arginine) polycationic low-molecular-weight protein found in salmon sperm that is also currently available in a recombinant form. This activity reviews indications, contraindications, mechanisms of action, adverse event profile, and other key elements of protamine use that are pertinent for members of the interprofessional team that manage the care of patients who require reversal of heparin.

Yeah, the discovery of this effect raises many questions…

I read that he wears clothes like that to look bigger, have broader shoulders, bigger hands, bigger feet, etc. He doesn’t have a tailor, but a film studio seamstress.

I never made it past ROTC before I decided that shit wasn’t for me and I’d deal with the student loans, but I’m also confused by the uniforms. Those look like Vietnam era helmets and harnesses to me. Were they doing a kind of “through the ages” thing? The whole parade was a messy idea and a messier implementation but I’m kind of fascinated by picking apart these odd little details in a sort of crime scene analysis process.

Yes. The army, in keeping with the 250 anniversary theme was showing its evolution over the centuries. Orangalini wanted goosestepping, gun-toting’, nail-chewing scowling soldiers intimidating the world with their sheer lethal badassery.

No one was happy.

‘dangerously close’. ‘consistent with autocracies’ We’ll be moving half a step closer, forever, according the media. We don’t need warnings, we need action.

Welp. congress has been usurped, now it looks like the military and the courts are going to follow.

There was a group in historical uniforms, so given that it was supposed to be a celebration of the army’s 250th anniversary, that would make sense.

Thanks to you and @MagicFox. I’ve avoided searching for images but I’m having fun being confused by the ones that crop up here. The display of history is really the only part of the process I could support, and that’s more properly done in a museum than a street-wrecking flex-parade for an angry toddler man.
