Iâve long found this double standard to be absolutely maddening. Biden makes one tiny error in speaking or jumbles a word or something innocuous where one generally understands exactly what heâs trying to say, and itâs treated like some sort of catastrophic and monumental disaster of epic proportions.
Meanwhile every minute of every day Trump says some of the most outlandish shit. It usually is completely incoherent and doesnât make any sense at all. What ends up being coherent is completetly outrageous, inappropriate, awful, or completely off topic. Itâs hand-waved away and explained by his army of supporters and the media largely accepts the sanewashed interpretations over what he actually said.
Even today, 6 months into Trump Part 2, rightoid talking heads always drift the conversation toward how Biden ran some sort of shadow presidency and was so mentally incompetent he didnât even know what year it was, while at the same time trying to defend Trumpâs constant public displays of incoherence and ignorance as pure genius.
