In the original Wizard of Oz novel the emerald city wasn’t green as such, but everyone was required to wear locked-on green goggles so as to perceive it as ‘emerald’. Much cheaper! Oh if some media person would just suggest requiring gold tinted goggles be worn after passing the soon to be erected grand drawbridge to what once was Washington.D.C. @#$!

He’s done more than threaten. This morning, he actually did it. He invoked a provision of the law that created DC to take control of the MPD away from the mayor for 30 days, and he’s called out the National Guard.
I saw someone on reddit say “this is a red flag.” Red flag? RED FLAG? No, this is it. This isn’t a warning or alarm anymore. This IS the fascism. This is him doing it.
