To paraphrase my earlier comment

‘Dude, we’re regulating our speech with our laws. What the fuck’s it got to do with you?’

(‘But as you are so fond of free speech, go fuck yourself in the arse with a rusty bit of barbed wire you utter failure of a human being.’)

I mean the other problem I see arising from the term is that ultimately it affirms white power. A Karen is most often a white woman who weaponizes her weakness to appeal to racist men… Who weild power to be manipulated by the karen’s evil womanly wiles.

The white man is blameless but dangerous.

But a Karen is also a mid white diva who demands service from workers and is ugly and annoying.

Both archetypes affirm white men’s power. Both archetypes affirm misogyny. Both describe actual bad behavior too.

So how do you criticize the behavior of white men without actually reinforcing their power?

How do you criticize women without affirming racism or misogyny too because often whatever type of woman someone has in mind conforms in some way to a racial stereotype or at the very least is easily co-opted by racists. And if not it is often dripping in misogyny.

I dunno. I’m shit with words it turns out and even more shit with politics and social theory.

There’s a reason I tend to prefer the company of machines and art supplies.

Trampkins love Tramp because he empowers them in their hatred of “weak” liberals. That’s jus5 about the entire extent of his power and appeal for most MAGAts. And also why it dont make no sense to try yo have a sensible, fact-based conversation with most or maybeall of them.

He absolutely realizes that and plays it up. They love it. He knows they love it.
The fact that people act like it’s anything other than that proves to them that liberals are idiots, all the more reason for high fives all around.
If you keep getting caught up in “why do they not realize this problem” and “how can they still back Trump after this scandal,” then you do not understand what the underlying motivating factor of his support is. It’s fuck liberals, that’s pretty much it.
Have you noticed he can do pretty much anything imaginable, and they’ll explain some way that rationalizes it that makes zero logical sense?
Because they’re not even keeping track of any coherent narrative, it’s irrelevant. Fuck liberals is the only relevant thing.
Trust me; I know firsthand what I’m talking about.
That’s why they just laugh at it all because you all don’t even realize they truly don’t give a fuck about whatever the conversation is about.
It’s just a side mission story that doesn’t matter anyway.
That’s all just trivial details - the economy, health care, whatever.
Fuck liberals.
Look at the issue with not wearing the masks.
I can tell you what that’s about. It’s about exposing fear. They’re playing chicken with nature, and whoever flinches just moved down their internal pecking order, one step closer to being a liberal.
You’ve got to understand the one core value that they hold above all others is hatred for what they consider weakness because that’s what they believe strength is, hatred of weakness.
And I mean passionate, sadistic hatred.
And I’m not exaggerating. Believe me.
Sadistic, passionate hatred, and that’s what proves they’re strong, their passionate hatred for weakness.
Sometimes they will lump vulnerability in with weakness.
They do that because people tend to start humbling themselves when they’re in some compromising or overwhelming circumstance, and to them, that’s an obvious sign of weakness.
Kindness = weakness. Honesty = weakness.
Compromise = weakness.
They consider their very existence to be superior in every way to anyone who doesn’t hate weakness as much as they do.
They consider liberals to be weak people that are inferior, almost a different species, and the fact that liberals are so weak is why they have to unite in large numbers, which they find disgusting, but it’s that disgust that is a true expression of their natural superiority.
Go ahead and try to have a logical, rational conversation with them. Just keep in mind what I said here and be forewarned.”

They are utterly consumed with hate and seem to understand nothing but pain. When they start to feel the pain themselves that’s when it becomes a “real” problem, ‘all of a sudden.’

I am surprised that we haven’t been hearing more about people resisting ICE and other complicit agencies with violence… yet.

No. that’s when they will ramp up the metaphorical and physical violence against liberals. That’s how consumed by hate they are. It will ALL be the fault of the liberals however bad it gets.

And guess what? Bill Murray’s been accused of SA, but of course it didn’t get any attention because he’s Bill fucking Murray. He lost his charm to me sometime around “What about Bob?”. Give me Danny Aykroyd any day a’ the week! (see molesters being outed thread).

Cons and MAGA aren’t the only people in AmeriKKKa prone to violence, or who own guns.

The view of the Administration is the more people in fear of being deported, arrested, disappeared, the better. TFG is a terrorist.

I feel like “Nihilism” is now a target purely because someone in the administration had this conversation:
“So what do all the people who are against Trump share, ideologically?”
“Well, nothing.”
Nothing, you say? Hmmm…”

It’s so unbelievably short-sighted to give in though. Once you have paid him the Danegeld, you never get rid of the Dane. You’d think people would have noticed how poorly appeasement works by now.

Yeah, everyone keeps learning that lesson, over and over and over again, even the people who should know better…
e.g.:

When some of the nation’s biggest law firms agreed to deals with President Trump, the terms appeared straightforward: In return for escaping the full force of his retribution campaign, the firms would do some free legal work on behalf of largely uncontroversial causes like helping veterans.

Mr. Trump, it turns out, has a far more expansive view of what those firms can be called on to do.

Over the last week, he has suggested that the firms will be drafted into helping him negotiate trade deals.

He has mused about having them help with his goal of reviving the coal industry.

White House officials believe that some of the pro bono legal work could even be used toward representing Mr. Trump or his allies if they became ensnared in investigations, according to the two people.

This particular case shows how easy it was to fall into the trap, though: they avoid having a big, damaging fight with the administration by agreeing to something they were fine with (helping veterans, in this case), but then it turns out the “deal” they had meant something very, very different to Trump than what it meant to them (and probably very different from whatever was put on paper). The basic issue being: they thought they were making a deal, Trump sees it as an admission of weakness that he’ll be able to continuously exploit.
