This puts a few things together for me. I know a few right-wing atheists/agnostics who at least started to fall into the authoritarian mindset of MAGA. One is now anti-MAGA (though still a Republican), one flip-flops but at least engages in honest dialog, and one is still full MAGA (and I pretty much avoid them). What do they all have in common? An evangelical, authoritarian upbringing.

Most people? You see most people aren’t naturally evolved for a daily torrent of abuse, except for the people Nazis target and abuse… They literally are evolved for this purpose or else the Nazis wouldn’t target them.
