The Nazification of America

Christ, what an ICEhole.

Good god.
We should disband ICE due the rotten culture. But won’t those agents just then get jobs as cops?

I hope other cases start being scrutinised.

Could we just like, temporarily declare a War On Immigration, arrest them all (along with the entirety of CBP and TSA, and maybe even DHS) for war crimes, and then sign a peace treaty with ourselves? Maybe put all those private prisons to some good use for a change?

I like where you are going with this…but who will be the guards at those prisons?

Heinlein’s short story “Coventry” comes to mind.

I say kill two birds with one stone, and give recent Mexican, Guatemalan, Honduran, etc. refugees a job and means to income.

When ICE starts asking unsupervised slaves who their mastercontracting company is, can we put them on the American shitlist next to unwed mothers?

JFC, I want to vomit

And before anyone says this kind of thing pre-dates Trump… uh, yeah. It’s still part of the process.

"Virtually all law-abiding citizens feel safer when they see officers walking a beat,” Harris writes in her 2009 book.

Uh-huh, I’m sure the friends and family of Mike Brown feel great when they see cops. Ditto the friends and family of Philando Castile, including the CHILD who watched him get shot. Also those who miss Sandra Bland, and I could go on ALL DAY listing people who will never trust a cop, for a specific reason that has nothing to do with criminal activity.

Walking a beat solo, talking to people and eating too much from the taco trucks… or rolling with a partner and “tolling the tribes”?

As Beth’s screenname suggests: Kamala Harris is a cop. ACAB.

Well, she would know then that the “walking a beat” thing only happens as a community preservation project these days. In addition to being a slaver she’s inaccurate yet folksy, just like everyone with a Police Benevolent Association bumpersticker.

A 2006 video shows her saying, of the black community, “What we don’t want is racial profiling. What we don’t want is excessive force. What we don’t want is our civil liberties and civil rights to be stripped. But we do want law enforcement.”

Probably, but when the latter is just a side dish that inevitably requires you to eat the rest, you likely aren’t going to want it as much.

Context certainly counts. I do think walking beats would help, but not in that context. Not when it’s a special thing. It should be done for all neighbourhoods.

At least they’re not pretending, I guess.

The article below that one:

Carlson incorrectly claimed that immigration is depressing wages among men, therefore decreasing “the attractiveness of men as potential spouses thus reducing fertility”

Maybe those men whose attractiveness have decreased due to immigration should be subjected to forced plastic surgery.
