That tux/dress (not sure what it’s called) is an amazing bit of tailoring as well. I had to stop and admire it a bit.

He famously wore that tux dress outfit for the Oscars back in 2019, and i would guess that the Sesame Street folks wanted the world to see more of it. Also looks like he brought a variant of it to the Golden Globes 2023

Now I need to read the story!

Ok - longish explanation …so, I stumbled across Alphabet Zoo (an ancient UK kids TV programme) as a result of Ralph McTell (of ‘Streets of London’ fame) coming to this episode of The Repair Shop with a large, leather kangaroo in need of refurbishment. Kenny the Kangaroo, in fact. This was from one of his songs for the aforementioned Alphabet Zoo. There were two series and there is a CD of many of the songs. (MP3 version on sale and downloadable here.)

Sadly, the letter P was Peter the Parrot, on the album. But series two did have Percy the Penguin, as the Wikipedia link above shows.

So I searched for Percy the Penguin, but it seems that track has not been subsequently released and that episode is not on YouTube. Others are. Here are many of the songs. Several of the full TV episodes can also be found on YT.

But searching for Percy the Penguin did bring up this more modern spheniscidalian adventure. (Yeah, “at last”, you’re thinking - some actual penguin stuff! Internet rabbitpenguin holes can be exhausting.)

Once upon a time, in the icy lands of Antarctica, there lived a curious little penguin named Percy. Percy was not like the other penguins in his colony. While they were content with their daily routine of fishing and waddling around on the ice, Percy yearned for adventure beyond the frozen horizon.

“A hidden drawer for back-up snacks”.

No words. Perfection.
