Cher came out for some adulation.
She was not disappoint.
âYou may worship me, lowly humanâ
What a great action shot! Itâs good my mouth was empty when I saw, else Iâdâve done a spit take.
Good Samaritans;
This piece of cat furniture is a recent addition to our kitchen table (which we havenât used for food in six years.) Agatha wasnât completely sure about it at first because her Void Boy brothers took over it first, but as you can see sheâs decided she likes it too.
What a fluffy beauty!
I have seen any new postings about Cosmo; any news?
Oh dear. I know you expected it, but damn.
The spray bottle wasnât effective enough to keep Nimbus from nibbling on the branch tips. Iâm not sure heâs even eating them. Just mouthing them?
We put just a bit of vinegar in the water. That is how we got Ravus to care about being sprayed. But after he ran when sprayed, Nimbus circled back and seemed to be licking the spray off the floor!
I made a no-can. Aluminum can with pennies inside and taped hole. I donât like these, they are so loud but it worked. Used last time Nimbus was hiding under the tree and beginning to nibble. He hasnât been back in 2 days. I apologized to the other cats after I used it. Poor Ryuuko was asleep!
Kind of, some school kids nearby all separately have said that they have seen a gray cat around. So thatâs good, and one kid even told me that he had been feeding a gray cat at night. But i havenât seen my cat, so i will text the kid tomorrow and ask for some more info.
I found when one of mine got out, that he went to ground during the day, and came out around dusk, so maybe heâs found a way into a garage, or under a porch, and is coming out as it gets dark.
Good luck.
You got to love it when they are doing something they KNOW that they are not supposed to be doing, then give you the âwhat are YOU looking atâ face!
One of the differences between dogs and cats; dogs feel guilt and cats feel âfuck you!â
Our cats jump onto the kitchen counters when weâre not in the room, then immediately jump down when one of us enters the room. They KNOW theyâre not supposed to do that. Recently Allspice was lounging on the counter above the dishwasher (it was warm there) while I did the wash-by-hand stuff. I didnât notice him for a while, but when I did and said âAllspice!â accusingly he jumped down.
They get into such mischief.
âDo you mind? Iâm kinda busy here. Important cat things to do.â
Deployed. It helps if I catch either of them in the act. Oh, yes, Cirrus has joined the fun, though she is climbing the bookshelves behind the tree, with inevitable collateral damage to the stuff on the shelves.
Kiddo calls that the bad cat rattle. Our âanalogâ one is similarly effective as the spray bottle â only if catching them in the act. However I happen to have something called a touchless vacuum. Itâs more of a powered dust pan, and itâs not really that usefulâwhy not just get the shop vac?â but whatever⌠Plug it in, sweep things to it and the broom movement activates the vacuum via a motion sensor. It is now lurking behind the tree. Both chaos kittens have activated it once. Joey hopped backward away from it, stared for a few minutes, then eased away like the teenager that he is, pretending nothing was amiss. Cirrus scrabbled from under the tree, then spent the next hour sitting in front of the tree watching it. Itâs nap time right now, so weâll see what happens when the next crazy time hits later today and this evening.
Good luck! The touchless vacuum sounds like a good tactic.
Last night I heard this bang from the main living area. Just as I was settling into bed with 2 of the 3 cats. I come into the living room to find Nimbus stretched out on his back and rolling around showing his belly in a very suspicious way. I still havenât figured out how he made the noise. Kitteh is Trouble. At least I have only one chaos kitten
Fluffy ball enjoying a belly rub. He got all offended and moved when I tried to slip a napkin next to his head to mop up the drool
