Not here. We seem to communicate just fine via facial expressions, gestures, and varying tones of voice.
They’d just be one more thing for me to trip over. Bigwig would try to knock one around like a toy, no doubt lol.

Boone would chew it up.
Same! Except it only goes one way: cats > human.
Devo is playing Satisfaction in my earphones RIGHT NOW, and the lyrics in part are “hey hey hey.”
Synchronicity!
Oh I listened to Synchronicity by the Police yesterday.
Trust me - I started with them when they were barely-open-eyed kittens. I’m serious about it. We seem to get each other completely about 50-60 percent of the time.
I nearly drowned when I was a small child, and a few years ago, I was thinking about that incident for no particular reason while I was reading a book. I turned the page, and the main character fell in the water and was drowning and at that moment the song “Into the Ocean” by Blue October came on the radio.
and our three-legged rescue kitteh, BabyCat, also takes a shift on the porch outside the postal workshop.
good girls, both.
My fiancee also somewhat recently “discovered” the cat channel and it’s been both good and a mistake. Cats keep trying to sneak behind the TV so they can get to the animals on the TV. And now anytime she turns on the TV they think its for them.
This was just funny for some reason. I kept waiting for them to pounce on one another, but they never did
oi! is that Nimbus?!!
he’s huuuge! just a wee kit yesterday…
what a great picture!
He’s growing into a giant, just like his elder in the photo. She’s around 16 to 17 pounds, so he still looks small by comparison but he’s 12 pounds now. He’ll be a full year old in a bit over a month but we both think he’s going to keep growing the way some larger cats do.
He’s a little bundle of trouble but cute and lovable. Has to be exercised regularly! Definitely the social lubricant between the orange kitties. His presence has really helped their relationship. Play stays play instead of degenerating into fighting.
I’ve found that cats, especially male cats don’t really reach their full growth until they’re about 2 years old. Unless they are tiny cats, and I’ve had a couple of those.
Our tailless wonder didn’t stop growing until she was almost 4. She got about 1/3 bigger than she was at 2 years. Good thing, too, she’s got 3 big brothers, all 15 pounds or more - Logan was 22 pounds last time we weighed him.
Maine Coons? Norwegian Forest Cats? Siberians?
