Hey that’s a great way to say you just screwed yourself.
We are so proud of daughter. You think they aren’t paying attention but they really do.
She placed 2 more ferals, they put the traps out to catch them and they got 'em.
The people that took them wanted two bonded kitties.
A day after they took them our kid realized they trapped a cat that wasn’t part of the feral colony.
She called the people and said she would get them the other cat and take the stray cat back because it hadn’t been fixed.
The people said you don’t give back adopted babies why would we give up the cat, they already named it.
They did take the cat to a rescue to make sure it wasn’t chipped and then everyone decided the cat was outside for several days in below zero temps and no one was looking for it, it’s staying in it’s new home.
She’s also followed up with the cats that got homes, they’re all doing well. Everyone tries to give her money to pay for all the shots and fixing. I don’t know how she finds these people but she vetted everyone more than Congress is vetting trump’s picks.
All hope is not lost, there are still plenty of good people out there.
Here’s the best part, the most recent people that took two cats, the husband is Mexican and the wife is an immigration attorney. They have a house full of rescues.
For some reason we have a butterfly… infestation? There are four butterflies flitting about in the house. Not that I’m complaining or anything, but I do wonder where they came from…
Do you know what kind they are?
Edit: Marking out your finger prints
Cabbage White butterflies. They’re garden pests.
The cross-thread synergies unite us all!
Ohh, so that’s what ate our broccoli!
Without a doubt. I always have to grow any brassica under netting else it gets destroyed.
Encourage wasps, they will munch on cabbage white caterpillars all day long…
I have no shortage of wasps. I’d just prefer not to have caterpillars in the first place ( on my veggies).
I suspected something like that. Wondering where they came from given the past 2 - 4 weeks over here hasn’t gotten above 40F, and has been mostly 25F-34F.
That’s our garden. Haven’t had problems with these guys or tomato hornworms for a while thanks to it.
They probably came from pupae that had been hanging in your house. If you left a window open caterpillars could have come in and pupated. I’ve had them pupate nestled against the window frame. The sun shining trough the window warms them enough to emerge.
Bravo!
