“and just where have you been?”
someone’s not happy!
Wow. I love the composition of that photo - it feels like a classic oil painting.
After way too many years we decided to get a new bed. We weren’t sure exactly what we wanted, but after trying many options we got a rather fancy one. One of the features that attracted us immediately was the vibrating function. (Oh my, that is relaxing, isn’t it?)
We were a little concerned about how the cats were going to react to this new thing “their” bed has started doing but it turns out to have been better than fine, at least with the boys. (Princess Agatha remains disapproving because it’s change and we know how she feels about such things.)
Meanwhile here’s Mateo about five minutes after I laid down for a relaxation session (and a nap.)
He now runs to get on the bed when he hears it. He’ll purr very loudly and kneed into a pillow, his whole body displaying happiness. I think the vibration is like a big mama cat purring back at him.
Bed upgrades are well worth the money what brand did you go with?
We got a Tempur-LuxeBreeze mattress with a Ergo ProSmart adjustable base. It was pricey, no question of that, but we’d been saving up for household upgrades. It’s probably a bit more than we needed, but I’ve already seen it’s helping my sleep and helping my body heal from some recent injuries. (Plus the cats it!)
You shouldn’t feel too guilty. Your comfort and sleep is important, if you feel great on your bed then enjoy it. Also bonus that your kitty loves it
I grew a dish of rye grass for my indoor beasties to nibble on, but the big girls ignore it, while Joey and Cirrus like to sit or lie down in it, especially after I water it. Here’s Cirrus cooling her bum.
Makes sense to me
I feel your frustration. My cats will eat any green thing growing out of any dirt EXCEPT the grass I grow especially for them.
Are we sure the kitty wasn’t protecting the baby from a marauding troll?
