Say hello to Q! He adopted me last week. I think it’s very fitting that his big brother is named Trelane.

Band Name!

@FGD135 “No plans to remove or euthanize Al Udeid’s ‘Pizza Cat,’ base says”
That’ll be the cat pizza base, I guess

@RAvery That photo shows a creature that infamously tortures its prey; the other one is cat.

How cute! Congratulations, Trelane, on your new kitty! (Because truthfully, the kitten is probably going to be more for Trelane than you!)

The fluffernutter was doing his MROOOWW of triumph today. Meowing with a toy in his mouth. He usually brings his prey to me or my husband and we praise him. I was talking to him, giving him praise, while I finished a sentence on my computer. Turned around to find he had brought his prey to Nimbus instead! I tried to get a pic of Ryuuko licking Nimbus’s head, but the fluff saw me and walked off.

Tyger Tyger, burning bright,
In the forests of the night;
What immortal hand or eye,
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?

We had to put the little girl back outside.

D discovered she’d been shitting in three rooms instead of using the litter box, which I’d been cleaning at least once a day. He had to haul everything out of one room this morning, and threw out a buncha garbage bagg’d dirty laundry (waiting to go to a laundromat). We’ll have to figure out how to clean the floor in there. Lotsa wet swiffering, then Murphy’s oil soap?

She was also using an upstairs room which has a lot of D’s musical gear in it, and he managed to clean that room out yesterday, and shut the door.

We’re heartbroken. We love her, but we can’t have that happening all the time. He said the house smelled like a toilet.

He’s been weeping much of the time since coming home at lunch.

There’s good strategies for working with an animal to get it house trained, it just depends on what your time commitment and patience looks like

She’d occasionally use the box, but we have no patience for having these oak floors trashed :frowning:

Our cat Dyson had kidney problems, the poor guy, and may have passed a stone. “Litter box = pain” in his mind? We put down puppy pee pads; he’d use them, but he’d find new places if we didn’t change them immediately. We also used Anti-Icky-Poo to get rid of the smell, which worked pretty well.

He only did this in the living room & dining room. We kept the bedroom door closed.

But it was not enough. We had to have our oak floors refinished after Dyson died (after about 2 years of this; we couldn’t bear to have him euthanized). And get the rugs cleaned.

So Anti-Icky-Poo may help with your floors. I think it uses an enzyme of some sort.

Thanks, @MerelyGifted and @mindysan33! He was quite handsome. The other cats in the house, all female, found him a little too amorous, though, despite his lack of a pair of ellipsoids.
