While Ernie is also adorable, I feel like his shoe in category is “most naughty”.
As in, most likely to destroy a pair of shoes. Luke over there looks like he’s just enjoying them, like an excellent good boy.

Our flame point Manx went through a tissue, TP and dryer sheet phase. She’d dig in trash bins to get dryer sheets, snag any tissues left on the floor (clean or otherwise), and we had to put the TP on the “right” way for a while. She seems to have graduated to a ‘play with dried leaves under the too-long curtains’ game.
tl;dr - there’s hope he’ll grow out of it.
Me too, for now we’re keeping the bathroom door closed, but that isn’t nice for the two kitties who like hanging out in there, where it’s (usually) quiet and cool.
Sorry, I’m not a dog person.
He’s 28 pounds!!!
He was adopted. Someone has some big food bills ahead.
Look at the size of his head though! It’s not all fat, he’s BIG.
If you play the video in the article, they say he might be mixed with a larger cat than a domestic. Which might also explain his behavior issues. He is super cute and big.
A 28 pound cat with behavior issues? Dyson had such when younger and he’s never been over 12 lbs. He was pretty darn scary at times, especially at the vet.
There’s a video?

There’s a video!
He is so sweet!
Moar video of BeeJay:
Could be he’s part Maine coon, part (large) short hair. If so, he’s large even for a Maine coon.
Aww, he’s too chonky to sit on the windowsill.
His new people should get him a cat shelf, once they figure out which window he likes to look out of the most. That will give him more room and be more comfy for him.
Yup. Always a window with a cat support in my home.
Such dilute! Is he a spotted tabby? It’s hard to tell!
Probably. He was a rescue from an abandoned litter found in Westland, MI, back around this time of year in 2001; he was 2-1/2 or 3 months old when we got him.
This seems really worth trying.
