Whatever the reason, it’s super cute! Scritch them both for me for X-mas!
We aquired two nearly identical six month old male black kitties over the Holidays. They have settled in remarkably fast and are surprisingly well behaved. I am a little suspicious that they are just plotting something big.
One of them likes to spend at least a quarter of his day on my lap or trying to climb up on my chest. The other one likes to stalk from under things but is still pretty friendly and likes to sleep on our feet.
We are going to call them Soot and Cinder.
Edit: picture added
Black kittehs!!! They are the best. They look so comfy snuggled up together.
Mister majestic nose over here is displeased with the weather and requires maximum lap time. He has no respect for dishes and laundry.
Indeed, staff must acquiesce to the Master’s wishes.
That is one handsome portrait.
From Monday, 1/13/20; the window ledge is about five feet off of the ground outside.
Sugarplum, formerly known as Li’l Girl, also known as Shugs, Li’l Shugs, Plum Girl, Whirly Girl, and others not yet created yet.
She lets me pick her up and she purrrs! She also has no neck. But Luke doesn’t like her, and though she’s gone onto the back porch she hasn’t liked it. It’s not much warmer than the outside, either.
Ernie is cold, and my robe is covered in cat hair. Just your regular icy friday.
This guy purrs like a lil’ mac truck.
my robe has a similar hair problem. Morning Lap Time™ is something local cats look forward to. they are pretty good about taking turns.
Turns. Yea, sometimes my local population takes turns. And, sometimes I get buried under a pile of several cats at once, when I’m on the couch.
My partner has two cat beds on his desk, and sometimes will have up to 5 cats up there all at the same time. That’s mostly when I’m not around, and they worry (I assume), because I am always here.
we just have two, brother and sister actually, and they sometimes snuggle together, but mostly they just pick on each other like brothers and sisters do.
I’m amazed at how our tuxedo preferentially leaves white hairs on dark clothes and black hairs on our white clothes.
Try having a tri-colored dog. You just accept defeat graciously and move on!
We have a calico too. And a brown tabby, and a Russian blue mix. So just about every piece of clothing wears a nice load of contrasty fur.
It’s their job.
Luke has tabled himself.
So the term that SHOULD be in common usage is “catpile”, am I correct?
that’s the term we use, that’s for sure.
