Neat how Ernie’s tail is attached to his shoulder.
i envy the supple spines of cats.
How did Sylvia do with her surgery?
Oh, forgot to update! She’s well. Lost one tooth and had a lot of tartar removed from some others, had a lesion cut out, but she is feeling good, as measured by eating. She’s even asked for crunchy treats, so I’m happy with her progress.
Edit: and I might be anthropomophising here but I think she likes the pain medicine they sent home because she stood still for it, which is very unlike her. She takes great offense at being manhandled, usually.
Cats aren’t dumb: she probably has worked out that she feels a lot better after taking it.
It’s been a few weeks since I’ve posted a Yami update. Here are a few selections from this week’s photo shoot:
She’s up to ~7lbs now, which is larger than our previous crested ever was. She’s also starting to look more like a dog and less like a puppy.
Here’s a collage my wife put together of her growth so far:
Sugarplum at around 3 am this morning:
She got bathed last night, and got flea drops applied earlier this afternoon.
No wonder she’s hiding.
This happened a couple of weeks ago, but I can finally think about it.
My dear Penelope had to be put down after a long downward spiral. She was near 15 as we had had her for 13 years.
I’m so sorry
You have my sympathies. Losing a pet is so hard. They are so dear to us.
Please accept my condolences. <3
That’s dreadful. I’m sorry.
I’m so, so sorry.
ooh, my condolences, too. 13 years is a long time. I hope your memories bring you comfort… it will get easier with time.
Thank you, everyone.
She had been going downhill for so long, it’s a relief in someways for her to be at peace.
But she is sorely missed.
