The Situation in Israel/Palestine

It’s almost like

  1. Netanyahu can’t afford for the war to end, because if it does, all his other chickens come home to roost.
  2. Members of Netanhyahu’s cabinet actively don’t want it to end because they have open, avowed, proud genocidal intent towards the Palestinians. And they’re threatening Netanhayu with leaving him to the circling dogs (you know, the watch dogs and guard dogs who’ve been trying to get him on the criminal fraud charges long before he became wanted for Crimes Against Humanity) unless they get their way.
  3. Hamas are a bunch of arseholes, but it’s been Netanyahu and his cabinet of monsters who’ve been sabotaging the ceasefire negotiations, just like they were channelling funding to Hamas before Oct 7, because if Hamas didn’t exist, they would have to invent it.

They just wanted to grandstand and get in a few extra acts of genocide before they signed off on it… :rage:

Maybe we’re just not fans of occupying forces committing genocide.

It was a huge relief to see these women coming back to Israel and to see the prisoners released into Gaza. It all feels so tenuous, but I hope they continue to move forward and more people will be coming back to their families.

I thought it was a picture of mars until I saw that the mounds and cristal formations were in fact ruined buildings.
