Jeph Jacques is also friends with David Willis who writes Dumbing of Age, about a character who (based on himself) grew up fundamentalist until they ran into the rest of the world. Some of the recent strips deal with her sister coming out trans to her…some trans friends had singled these out.
It’s also really good in my opinion if you can take college and occasional superheroes in place of coffee shops and robots.
I’m sure this has come up elsewhere (heh), but several outlets have highlighted how Spider-Verse Gwen Stacy is semi-canonically trans and definitely trans-coded. Across the Spider-verse has this scene between her and her dad, and though it’s textually about her “coming out” to her dad as a superhero, well… :

QC and DoA are the only two webcomics I read regularly. DoA has a couple of trans characters now, as well as a few enbies.
“Realta” is a neat, cozy webcomic featuring a nonbinary protagonist and a lot of other queer characters.

In Something Positive, there is a bi character, Vanessa, Davon’s wife and an Enby character, Gris, who is best friends with Davon’s adopted son. Randy Milholland’s spouse is enby… also an academic librarian, so that’s why he created Gris…
OH, there’s also Girls with Slingshots, which… had some queer characters (and has crossover with something positive), but I can’t remember if she has any trans characters or not?I haven’t been keeping up for a while now, though I did get to meet her once!

Was trying to remember why I had mentally bookmarked him and it was because last summer Colombian tabloids spread a rumor he was having an affair with Linda Yepes, a transgender newscaster. Not only did he refuse to deny it but decried transphobia as akin to Nazism

For decades I thought I was having a false memory or mandala effect because I swear I used to have a vinyl of Switched on Bach by “Walter” Carlos. Turns out I did and am not crazy. Wish I still had that it might be worth some $$.
Also I recommend Cindytalk as a trans pioneer in experimental music!
OMG, I got to see her in 1995 or 96… she was fucking incredibly live. It was in a small hole in the wall club next to Varsity… One of the best shows I ever saw… I miss that club.
She’s amazing… still making music, but I don’t know that she’s touring much anymore.
