Yeah, there’s that aspect also, people are used to raising chickens, and fresh eggs for free isn’t bad no matter how much money you have.

I’m guilty of nicking cuttings of plants when we’re out and about, but I won’t take entire plants…

I got to touch a ray (don’t remember if it was a manta* or a sting) at the VA Beach Aquarium on my second-ex-honeymoon. It was like touching not-yet-set gelatine but without my finger poking through it. They are so cool!

*musta been a manta, cos I don’t remember any denticles on its back.
