time to promote this film, again.
it’s a gut punch of a movie, with today’s history in mind, yet there are beautiful, long silences, playful children and the family the story centers on.

if you haven’t seen it, i hope you will.

Souvenir / Hiroshima : Pica-Don (Renzo Kinoshita, 1978) - Brève | Catsuka (can be NSFW as there is a mother breastfeeding and some people conider it offensive)

To be honest I didn’t feel the need to watch the documentary. They went through her personal archives and found her to be a lying Nazi sack of shit in plain sight for decades.

Like all people who “aren’t political” she was just a fucking Nazi.
