He was looking at 15 years to life for the most serious charges. Now the absolute maximum will be 20 years, but there’s a chance he may get time served. In other words, no jail time at all.
ETA: Based on federal sentencing guidelines, I don’t think he can get 20 years. I think that’s more of a theoretical maximum based on the charges. And he may get released today, pending sentencing. So he could be a free man temporarily this afternoon.
