I had the same thing happen at a CVS this week… it wasn’t urgent or anything, but we had 4 prescriptions and they were out of one.
Probably so…

Might be a better choice… There is a Costco in our county, but it’s kind of far away, so not entirely convenient for us… So, it’s either Wal-Greens, CVS, Kroger, or Publix…

Do you have independent pharmacies nearby? I just switched a prescription yesterday to a new pharmacy I had recommended to me, and this morning they called to confirm my details (name, pronouns) since it came in under my deadname and it’s an estradiol valerate prescription. Colour me impressed!
I’ve used independent pharmacies in the past for other meds as well and have had only good experiences.

I use a privately-owned pharmacy, too. They are wonderful! I wonder if we are outliers?
While my pharmacy is within walking distance (~1 mile), the only significant issue could be the hours for these type of pharmacies. I once got hives and went to urgent care after 6 pm, so I picked up an Rx at CVS. No big thing except I felt guilty cheating on my pharmacist.
