This is where we’re going- a society where it’s taboo to not be openly, actively racist, sexist, transphobic, etc. All because cowardly fucks like these not only didn’t stand up to the Nazis, but went as far out of their way as possible to roll over and wet themselves in submissive terror, just in case a Nazi happened to some day glance in their direction. How are there so damn many people with absolutely no values, dignity or courage? It just keeps happening over and over and over.

I would blame the ideology where the only thing worth caring about is monetary profit. Corporations now insist on it and so many people have imbibed it from them. If it’s worth destroying the planet to make number go up a bit more, why would you stick up for any if the people who live on it?

Man, I’d refuse to rent to him just based on the tags he included at the end of that post. Amazing how he thinks the President forgiving his crime would make people less angry, as though Trump is a totally impartial third party and not the guy who incited them in the first place. These people truly do live in their own parallel reality… no matter how much they force it onto the rest of us.
I will say, though, as a reaction to being called out as an insurrectionist, “Whaaaaaa” is a pretty hilarious response.

Well, now he knows how it feels for the countless people who went to jail, served their sentence, and can’t get a job or rent an apartment once they get out. If he thinks he deserves the benefit of the doubt because he got pardoned, what about those who “served their debt to society” the old fashioned way?
