It seems like he just hasn’t been paying attention for the past decade or so.

I’m not sure how sincere he is, but it all has a very “head in the clouds” detached dopiness to it. I wonder if he’s noticed that Trump is President, or even that he already had been once before.
Maybe it’s Lord John Whorfin talking.
He did write a series of poetry books making fun of Trumpy.
They put a “hack me” sign on themselves. How long until it’s gone again?
Oh, I’d forgotten those. The bookstore was full of jokey books mocking Trump during his first term. They’re notably absent in 2025. Nobody’s laughing this time around.
New essay today: Last year, “Gamergate 2” declared open culture war on the “woke mind virus”.
Led, by an uncoordinated gaggle of grifting dipshits, somehow they completely failed in every single one of their goals.
Let’s see why.
It has only been 100 days even though it feels like 100 months.
The specific one you mentioned probably took time to actually write, but the majority of them looked like they easily could have been churned out in a couple weeks to make a quick buck, let alone a few months. There’s sort of an entire genre of lazy meme/fad books that are only a few pages long and intended to be given as gifts because nobody would want to buy them for themselves. It’s part of why I’m annoyed at some of these books even though they were mocking Trump- in effect they actually normalized him more by putting his face absolutely everywhere, and their criticism was toothless and shallow rather than focusing on the harm he did.
Moron by name…
So FAUX News doesn’t count as “media”?

They just hate that guy, too. And they know because they had to work with him.
