Hay rakes in the snow. The weather report says it won’t stop for a few more hours, but it’s slowed down a lot. We’ve had maybe an inch and half fall, in the last 24 hours.

I shoveled 3 times before 9:00am, and then decided that I’m going to wait to do it again until it actually stops snowing (which it hasn’t, yet, 3 hours later).

I swept the steps to the front door, because it did stop snowing. I don’t usually think about it until there is ice, and I’m irritated. Because of your comment I did it while the snow was still powdery, so, Thank You from future me.

stink bugs? those are invasive, right?

Depends on the species, depends on the location.

There have been stink bugs here for a long time, although the impact of European agriculture and urbanisation has altered their distribution significantly.

The plant they’re sitting on is an invasive weed, though. Sida Rhombifolia, AKA Paddy’s Lucerne.

We found a wriggly friend this morning:

Right in the middle of a kid’s playground. Now safely relocated into the bush.
