I don’t know much about construction methods, so I’m saying face-lift.

However, maybe it’s to protect the building from collapsing entirely if a truck were to hit it…

It’s an airport. There shall be two more airports, then I get to see my mom for two weeks. I’m having to work all the workdays but I figure that I actually CAN work from anywhere so I’m giving that a whirl. My client/manager [person who approved the payments] knows I’m going but not all the folks I support do. It’s a test.

I’m going to miss the cats but perhaps some distance from my human partner is going to be helpful. I love him but sometimes I think I’d rather be alone. Alone with three or more cat.

I’m hoping some time with Ma provides me some clarity without me dumping my bullshit on a recent widow, y’know?

this store has been closed for some years now.

this guy SEVER was writing graf before I did and was nationally famous, getting up in ATL, Nashville, and LA, and probably many other large cities.
This got put up last night because I pass this building every day.

Is that your ride leaned against the building?

Which BTW is the kind of building I love as local color, and also because nothing about it declares “outpost of private equity”.

That is definitely an ungentrified piece of real Atlanta. I love it.

ya, I finally got the gearing sorted for hilly urban terrain just recently.

oh, don’t worry, it will be bulldozed to make way for some type of yuppie dwelling or services very shortly, I’m certain.

Nice, that’s a very attractive and capable bike. And tall.

I have bar-ends on mine now, as a place to change grip every now and then. Also, it turned out I needed a set-back seatpost, and the right one was a BMX-style layback post with 65mm (!!!) offset.

I ride every other day for an hour or two.

Another place for my parents to have brunch in relative safety, away from “those people”

Shitty weather today, but at least it’s scenic enough.

Tonight’s walk. Tomorrow our big music fest starts. You can see the Ferris wheel and setup by the Aquarium (the building with the fins on top)

You can literally watch grass grow after the crazy downpour and now, brutal heatwave.

Lake Waskesieu. Somehow, this was the only photo I took. Has a small little beach, and behind it, a veritable small city of internet-stsrved retirees.
