From what I remember, she was told that (as was NK Jeminson) and that’s not wrong with regards to publishing sci-fi/fantasy, though I think it’s better these days.
Yeah, that doesn’t sound like she was wanting to be transition, but rather a case of understanding that boys/men are treated better in our society.
Yeah, I think so too. She just decided that the way to deal with patriarchy is to punch down on vulnerable people.
Hmmm… maybe, but I guess I’m not convinced. She certainly has examples of some powerful people transitioning (Caitlin Jenner for example) if she really wanted to. At this point, though, she’s just a hateful bigot and has decided to double down on being a hateful bigot.
It’s almost funny that the only “harm” being around transgender ppl she can articulate is a haircut.
This is the person who worked at a gender affirming clinic in St. Louis for a few years and then sent people’s medical info to the state attorney general and a reporter.
