Um.... what.... aka, this is the dumbest thing I've ever read

Yep, precisely…

Also, I am really sick of seeing those two techy dipshits parading their children around like commodities… I really want to slap their fucking designer glasses and her dumb ass bonnets off their heads… Fucking fascist scum. I hope all their children hate them.

Oh, I’m sure that’s not the pronatalists though, they’re just concerned citizens who want to have babies to save the world from something or other. Sterilization would be some other unrelated movement that by pure coincidence has all the same members. :unamused:

All their “superior” genetics progeny are going to need glasses too

Glasses are fine, since they signal intelligence.

These are such garbage humans.

Who the hell is Will Stancil? There was also this (though he got this right)?

Yes, and…while climate change is a real and eminent threat that requires us to recognize and respect the ecological laws that govern our world, no compromises allowed, human population change only requires that we revisit and adjust our horribly out-of-whack socio-economic structures that are built on the fallacy that perpetual growth is possible. We can do that, it is within our cultural control.

Of course Musk thinks declining birth rates would be a problem. He sees humans as something to use up and throw away for profit, not much of a pivot from his family’s mining operations.

I’ve heard of the Ice Wall before in association with flat earthers, but as for the whole thing :woman_shrugging:

Yeah. One of the more effective scams of capitalism is how it helps to convince “salaried” people that they don’t have class-based interests in common with people who earn an hourly “wage.”

This is the first time I’d been exposed to the idea that “salary” and “wage” aren’t synonyms, honestly.

Speaking from personal experience, if you are paid an hourly wage you get time and half for the overtime hours you work, so the company goes out of its way to avoid working you overtime. If you are salaried, you don’t get paid time and a half for overtime hours, so overtime work is mandatory.

I can only speak to the company I work at, but there salaried people can get overtime up until a certain (pretty high) salary point. I don’t think we’ve got many hourly wage workers, though.

I’d do it instead, but I’m off the clock. :beers:
