Who’s a clever girl then?
Tried dyeing my hair with dragon fruit juice. So disappointed when it didn’t work. Maybe grape juice…
There are very bright reds that can be achieved with henna.
I had a teacher that used henna every now and again. One time she fell asleep with it in her hair for a few hours. That was a brighter red than she normally had
I used to help a roommate henna his hair, and I’d always give a generous handful of my bangs a bright Red Stripe. XD
I’ll never forget mom’s '70s tins of nestle henna with the lovely Egyptian lady on. Lemme see if I can find a pic.
Kool-aid?
Never tried it, nor food coloring.
Various flavored jello was fun back in the 80s. A friend (he’s well over 6’3" and I’m 5’1" on a good day), entirely without my knowledge, sucked on one of my spikes while we were out on the dancefloor. He looked thoughtful a second, then nodded to himself and walked off the floor to a knot of our friends.
He announced, “Black cherry.”
That is the weirdest lack of consent story I think I’ve ever heard!
IKR?! I didn’t know until one of our friends told me XD XD Not just the weirdest, the least creepy, and the funniest. I LMFAO
The punk/goth scene in Detroit was something else.
McMaster-Carr catalogs have always been handy to have around. As steps is a new one.
Rufus’ next birthday rapidly approaches!
I watch this mad ostrich race every few days, and always hip friends who visit. They always
it too, and insist I play it again at least a couple times!
Kermit, preparing for this address…
SCENE 1:
Josie: “Is that you, Bill? Bill!”
Caregiver: “No, Josie. That’s not Bill.”
Josie: “That’s Bill! We were best friends!”
Caregiver: “This is Frank, Josie”
Caregiver [thinking]: Poor Dear.
SCENE 2: Camera slowly pushes in on mantlepiece then slowly zooms in on old, framed photograph there showing Josie as a teenager standing next to an alpaca. Caption: Josie and Bill. Best Friends!
House-hunting many years ago I was shown a residence while the owner was away. The color scheme of the living room was nothing but black and gray. Example: The sofa was gray, and its throw-pillows were black. Resting and stretched out sphinx-style atop the opposite ends of the sofa’s backrest were two cats facing each other; one was black, the other was gray, both were chilled out and blinking slowly. Happy and comfortable. Something I still wonder about: What came first? The cats, or the decor?
