A miniature dachshund that went missing 16 months ago on Kangaroo Island in South Australia has been spotted alive and well – but continues to evade a team of volunteer searchers and wildlife experts who say they are “amazed” the dog survived for so long in the wild.
She’s now reunited with her family!

Growing up in northern Canada, you’d see dogs who lived for this. They’d grumble every time the weather was too “hot” (above about -10 C / 15 F).
My opinion about the cold weather didn’t match theirs and I had to leave, but seeing their joy when playing outside helped make it bearable while I was there.

Our Buck loves snow, and refuses to come in after we let him out to play. Unfortunately he is smol, so I have to watch him or else he would literally freeze to death even though he had a nice fur coat.
