(US) Representative Follies

The fact she was going to sign an executive order to tear down the GA Guidestones is hilarious to me.

Also, the attack on Pearl Harbor famously didn’t involve any U.S. aircraft carriers, as all of them were elsewhere at the time. :man_facepalming:

What the living fuck…it’s like, when is the GOP idiocy going to reach critical mass?

Sounds more like they’re bragging, not admitting.

Is there a term for someone who is obsessed with Jesus and the Bible but is clearly not a Christian? A Christnik perhaps?

Jesus Freak is what I’ve heard, and it always sounds like an insult (which out of my father’s mouth, it 100% was)

I remain bewildered why this is a thing that anyone admires.

The senior senator from my former home state, Dianne Feinstein, is well in to her 90s and is so cognitively impaired she hasn’t been able to have a town hall or public meeting with her constituents in years. But she keeps getting elected.

My MP here is 40-something, smart as a whip, and while I don’t agree with her on some subjects, I do deeply respect her.

There are soooo many conceived values that have been practically carved in diamond with adamantium. That age brings wisdom is one of them. Seems to bring deterioration more often then not these days.
