Folks seem to be rather slow in realising that a fascist revolution will nearly always provoke a socialist response.
With work, it’s possible to keep that response to democratic socialism. Get careless, or face too much pressure, and you’ll end up with a Stalin.
You need to go early and hard if you want a chance of influencing the outcome.

BTW: I’m not counting on it, but I wouldn’t be shocked if the RNC-GOP eventually try a last-minute impeachment.
But if they do, it’ll be too late. The Trumpeters would view that as a declaration of war, and we’d get to see if the uniforms follow Congress or the President.
