I think Johnson did, but I doubt his voters followed him on that.
Yeah, but… I know the Libertarian Party is full of authoritarians, but I have a hard time seeing how they’d all vote Trump over Clinton.
Not all of the Greens would vote one way, either.
If no minor party options had been available, most of the minor party voters would not have voted at all. And that effect would have been roughly evenly distributed between left and right.
The point is that it’s a wash. The Greens were not responsible for Clinton’s loss; Clinton was.
