The key bit is the minute starting at 3:00.
It’s amazing how something positive (like destroying all their nukes) is STILL shot through with white supremacy! And by amazing, I mean horrifying and sickening.
Thought - do you think there can be such a thing as a democratic fascist state - with all the trappings of democracy, including smooth transition of power between parties, but still deeply controlling of it’s own population? We know we can have imperialist democracies, but can we have a democratic fascist imperialist democracy?
I don’t know enough about Singapore to say (you might be correct), but I’d think Japan’s constitution is a more meaningful democracy, and the state controls are more about keeping out the past then anything else ensuring that the monarchy, for example doesn’t become what it was in the 30s and 40s (war mongering, so a pacifist constitution, with no military).
Maybe I’m wrong on that, though? How is Japan’s press inhibited? Is this since the end of world war 2 or is that a new development?
Considering all that, would you call both states “fascist” in nature?
We’re fucked.
Rahm Emanuel’s cops.
So tell me again why Black and poor people should vote for Democrats?
Assuming?
Why assume when you can do the experiment yourself? And then you can drink the milk.
two common liquids, milk and ink
(my desire to actually watch the experiment is thwarted by the comparative unavailability of liquid ink-- I don’t use a fountain pen.)
As one of the ingredients is somehat rare, and milk is less than universally consumed-- it probably does not work with almond “milk”, and may even be best appreciated with whole milk, perhaps even unhomogenized milk , i suspect that this metaphor may be dying,
The contamination aspect is alluded to in this book…
