I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of it is people staring at the sky, trying to see these and seeing things move just because that’s the way your eyes work.

Stare at the moon when it’s high in the sky, do it long enough and yeah, it “moves”. Add these visual artifacts to airplanes, etc. There’s going to be a lot of false positives.

I think there were probably military contractors testing drones, people noticed and it became sensationalized and then ^see above^
