Weird, odd stuff

Straight wing trailing edge and single engine = F-16

Tapered trailing edge and dual engine = SU-27

Oops indeed

It could be the post nasal drip as OWYAC says, or I wonder if the antibiotic makes you extra sensitive to smell?

Ooooo…I don’t know about feeding a family for a week. That looks like it might feed a me for about one meal.

I haven’t noticed any increase in sense of smell due to the antibiotic, though just seeing food sometimes makes it worse. And I didn’t notice any loss of sense of smell due to the cold, like some people due with COVID.

My guess is it has something to do with the immune system, which is linked into the vagus nerve. Nausea also involves the vagus nerve, so maybe that’s the connection. Living things are so darn over-complicated.

It would feed me about zero times. If I see a growing mushroom, I get a little sick, especially since that time I over-watered some new plants and about 15 varieties of mushrooms sprouted (not all at once).

Including some growing out of the door mat.

The drones over New Jersey are a weird, odd thing. Why New Jersey? ARE THEY EVEN REAL?? :scream_cat:

The aliens are targeting Bedminster and saying it’s China.

Yes, they are real. The “and the East Coast” part is a massive understatement:

I have family members who live in a few Mid-Atlantic states who have seen them just…hovering. They can be distinguished by their lights, speed, and ability to appear nearly motionless for 5-10 minutes at a time before moving on. The lack of answers makes it even worse.

My brother lives in that area and that (as well as military facilities) are what residents believe are the mostly likely reason for these incidents.

In New York City, there are helicopters that hover in place for long periods of time. They are the Police. They are there to monitor groups. I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s what these are too. Police departments with a little to much a equipment on their hands.

It sounds like these are too small and silent to be helicopters. Plus the lights are different. My brother worked in aerospace for a while, so I’m relying on his assessment. Even the police are frustrated and don’t have any answers. I’m hoping the Coast Guard can bring some down and provide an explanation. There are lots of elected officials trying to find answers for the residents affected by this, too.

Saw a little bit of a former FBI stupervisor on MSNBC, who said something along the lines of, “Oh, it’s so easy to mistake small planes, satellites, bright stars, planets…things often look like they’re lower in the sky than they really are…” as they split the screen between him and submitted obviously drone footage.

I got pissed off as the snottily condescending spook ahem droned on essentially about how stupid and easily led some people can be, so I hit stop & found a different video.

Oh I wasn’t saying the drones were actually helicopters. Just the same kind of activity. I was saying the drones are probably being operated by local police just to practice watching people.

The disruption and speculation of residents reminds me of Leave the World Behind, and I’m really hoping it doesn’t turn out like “The Monsters are Due on Maple Street.” :grimacing:

The ones Hogan saw are apparently, really, really large. Like measured in solar masses large.
