We just had a “henge” effect on our street that we’ve not noticed before. Maybe it’s just been cloudy, or we’ve been sleeping in pre-XMas, but the sun doesn’t usually rise to the right of our neighbour’s house, and this morning was only about 5 degrees off straight into our living room.
If I’d been the developer, I would have shifted the house that tiny little bit to line up exactly on the solstice… 
I took this screengrab which nicely shows how precession has affected how much sunlight enters the chamber. In another few hundred years the effect will have disappeared.
A garbage truck exploded in one of the towns nearby.
Holy shit… WTAF?
There were people very close. I assume most were firefighters, but it looked like there was a woman standing on the sidewalk next to the truck.
I hope there were no serious injuries.
Two cops and a firefighter were injured but released from hospital. I forgot to add this was about two weeks ago. Seems something combusted within the garbage which subsequently heated the truck’s LPG tank, causing the detonation.

Holy crap! I hope nobody was seriously injured. There must have been some warning of something going on, with all the police and fire dept. presence. Do they know what caused it?
